Meet Heather Hargrove, LCPC

Grief Therapist in Overland Park, Kansas

Hi, I’m Heather. I help adults experiencing grief from the impact of loss so that they can feel a sense of purpose, trust themselves again, and begin to feel safe when life has been turned upside down.

This work is important to me. Through my own personal experience, I know what it’s like to feel scared and uncertain, feel that no one understands, and to not trust this new life you are in, to be safe. That lived understanding shapes how I show up in the therapy room - with understanding, care, and a place you can feel safe.

Therapy is not about having all the answers before you begin; it’s about having a space where you don’t have to figure everything out by yourself. If you’re feeling stuck, misunderstood, or tired of repeated patterns and pain, I can offer a way to move forward at your own pace.
